Privacy Policy

Version: 2.3 · Last updated: 6 August 2026

Definitions

Extiri's website includes everything served under the extiri.com domain and its subdomains. "Extiri product" refers to services or products provided by Extiri, including CodeMenu, Snippex (formerly Snippets Store), Resso, ClipGuru, Chitneek, Airstrip, and Extiri's website. "User" means an entity using Extiri products. "Personal information" means information that can be associated with a specific person (e.g., name, email).

Changes to terms

We may update this policy from time to time to improve clarity or reflect changes in our products. When we do, we will post the updated version here with the date it was last updated. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Consent

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using any Extiri product you consent to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop using the product and delete any data you have provided in accordance with the Data Deletion section.

Data practices by product

Different Extiri products collect and process different types of data. This section explains what applies to each product.

Extiri Website (extiri.com)

The main Extiri website (extiri.com) uses Umami Analytics for privacy-focused, aggregate usage statistics (e.g., page views, scroll depth, and call-to-action interactions). Umami collects anonymous usage data without gathering personally identifiable information (PII) or storing tracking cookies on your device.

The Extiri blog (located at extiri.com/blog) continues to use Google Analytics to measure readership metrics.

Neither Umami Analytics nor Google Analytics is present inside any native Extiri application.

CodeMenu & Snippex (formerly Snippets Store)

CodeMenu and the Snippex web app allow optional login to an Extiri account. When you create an account, we collect your username and email address.

If you enable Gravatar integration, an MD5 hash of your email is sent directly to Gravatar to retrieve your avatar image. Extiri does not process or store this hash.

No telemetry or analytics is collected by the CodeMenu app.

AI features: All AI features in CodeMenu use local processing (built-in system frameworks or Ollama). However, CodeMenu can run snippets via ChatGPT and Claude by displaying their websites in a web view. In this case, data entered is processed by OpenAI and Anthropic, respectively, under their own privacy policies.

Resso, Rapidool, ClipGuru, Netvis & Airstrip

ClipGuru, Netvis, and Airstrip do not contain any telemetry, analytics, or tracking, and do not collect or transmit personal information. All user data is stored locally on your device.

Resso and Rapidool use RevenueCat to manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat collects purchase history data, which is used solely for app functionality (verifying and restoring purchases) and analytics. This data is not linked to an identity and is not used for tracking. All other user data remains stored locally on your device.

Chitneek & Słówko

Chitneek and Słówko include privacy-preserving telemetry via TelemetryDeck. All data collected is strictly anonymized. It is sent periodically based on feature use or during the onboarding state. The collected data includes non-identifying information such as screen size, color scheme, system version, app version, phone model, region, and language to help us improve the app.

Other products

Some Extiri products have their own dedicated privacy policies:

iCloud synchronization

The following apps support optional iCloud synchronization: CodeMenu, Resso, ClipGuru, and Chitneek.

When iCloud sync is enabled, your data (such as snippets, clips, or assets) is stored in Apple's iCloud infrastructure. This data is processed under Apple's Privacy Policy. Extiri does not have access to data stored in iCloud; Apple manages the encryption and storage.

Third-party service providers

Extiri products rely on the following third-party services, whose privacy policies also apply:

  • Website: Umami Analytics (main extiri.com pages), Google Analytics (extiri.com/blog only), Vercel, Cloudflare
  • CodeMenu / Snippex (account & infrastructure): Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, SendGrid, Gravatar (optional)
  • CodeMenu (snippet running via web views): OpenAI (ChatGPT), Anthropic (Claude)
  • Resso & Rapidool (purchases & subscriptions): RevenueCat
  • Chitneek & Słówko (analytics): TelemetryDeck
  • All native apps: Apple App Store services, Apple iCloud (when sync is enabled)

Website Analytics and Privacy

We use Umami Analytics on the main Extiri website (extiri.com) to collect privacy-first, aggregate usage statistics without gathering personally identifiable information (PII) or setting cookies. The Extiri Blog (extiri.com/blog) uses Google Analytics to measure readership metrics. Neither service is present inside any native Extiri application.

Extiri account & data deletion

The Extiri account is used only in CodeMenu and the Snippex web app. Users may delete their Extiri account (including username and email) via CodeMenu preferences. Account deletion may take up to 30 days to finalize.

If you have concerns about your privacy, contact us at [email protected].

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing of, or port your personal data. Submit requests by contacting us; we will respond within one month where required by law.

Children

Extiri does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us and we will remove it.
